The Full Story
Holy Trinity Chapel
The Holy Trinity Chapel is a holy and spiritual place of devotion in Rwanda.
In is located in Dioceses of Butare, in the Mugombwa Parish.

Mission
The Holy Trinity Chapel was constructed with the hopes of creating a center of prayer and commitment to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. A place of spiritual
nourishment.

The Chapel is a vocal point for the surrounding Rwandan community as it acts as a place of community worship. This is the purpose of the construction of the Chapel, to provide sanctuary to those who are in need of spiritual connection, to provide an establishment for community gatherings, prayers and aid to the less fortunate.

The construction of the Chapel was commissioned by Abambari B'Urukundo and started development in 2016. It took years of dedication, prayer, hard work and multiple donation campaigns. However, the Chapel is still currently under constructions.
Abambari B'Urukundo have many aspirations for the Chapel. They hope to add functional washrooms, and Chambers for nuns to be stationed at the Chapel so as they can provide 24hr spiritual support, and Guest Chambers for far travelers and sojourners who frequently visit the Chapel.
Within the Chapel
MOTHER MARY
Within the Chapel there is a statue of Mary with Three Crowns which represents her commitment to God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The wearing of a crown in Rwanda is a special practice, it is done when a significant life event occurs in ones life, such as marriage.

SPECIAL PRAYER
A very special prayer to the organization is prayed regularly within the chapel. A special prayer that is at the moment mostly known only amongst the nuns, they call it the Trinity Prayer. There is a long and interesting story on the origins of the Trinity prayer and Marie Goretti the MS of the organization, and her contributions to the prayer, which is unfortunately unavailable on this site at the moment.
GATHERINGS
Within the chapel, the sisters gather for daily prayers, Mass, and other religious services, where they seek spiritual guidance and strength to fulfill their mission of serving the poor, nurturing mentally disabled children, and supporting the community.

Holy Adoration
Sisters of Abambari b'Urukundo founded the service of adoration in 2021. The function of this services takes place in a secondary chapel near the Holy Trinity Chapel.

Adoration is the act of veneration in the presence of the Holy Eucharist. The idea is to humbly and submissively come before the the Blessed Sacrament—wherein as Catholics believe it is the transubstantiation of Christ's Holy body—to venerate and pray, which in turn cultivate a deeper love for Christ and enrichens obedience to Christ.
The sisters of Abambari b'Urukundo are the ones who oversee the operation of adoration. They service adoration 24/7. Ensuring that there is always at least 1 nun present during the day and 2 nuns during the night. Every Sunday all the Sisters of Abambari b'Urukundo gather for adoration.
